Assistant City Manager Novak gave the Utility Report.
11. Internal Auditor's Report
Internal Auditor Jeanine Covington presented the report to Council and noted she added three new projects and a column listing additions to the plan.
12. City Manager's Report
Assistant City Manager Catherine Cameron updated Council on the recycling program.
Development Services Manager and CRA Coordinator Astrida Trupovnieks gave a legislative update.
Mr. Brower stated that the City will partner with businesses to roll out their Fill Downtown marketing program.
Mr. Brower announced that staff will be meeting with Council individually to discuss the DROP initiative.
13. Mayor's/Police Department Report
Chief Graham gave a report on the activity of the Police Department.
Mayor Guinn gave the Mayor's Report.
Mayor Guinn questioned the process for removing traffic lights.
14. City Attorney's Report
a. City Attorney Gilligan briefed Council on the hearing with the School Board.
b. instructing staff that any and all work orders for all services City-wide for the School Board be delivered to the City Manager and placed on the next Council agenda for approval regardless of urgency with discretion of the City Manager or designated staff concerning health, safety or welfare emergency.
c. staff to commence closing off the stormwater drains as identified by staff as they see fit at the Marion County School system.
